Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Shrimping (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Shrimping is a posture tracking application that uses motion sensors in compatible AirPods and Beats headphones to monitor head tilt and provide posture feedback. The App is intended for general wellness purposes only.

Medical Disclaimer

Shrimping is NOT a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The posture data provided is approximate and based on head tilt measurements from consumer headphones. Do not rely on this App for medical decisions. Consult a healthcare professional for posture-related health concerns.

Compatible Devices

The App requires compatible headphones with motion sensors:

• AirPods Pro (1st generation or later)
• AirPods (3rd generation)
• AirPods Max
• Beats Fit Pro

The App may not function correctly with other headphone models.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

• Monthly Pro: Billed monthly. Auto-renews unless cancelled.
• Yearly Pro: Billed annually. Auto-renews unless cancelled.

Non-Consumable Purchase

• Lifetime Pro: One-time purchase. Permanent access to all Pro features.

Subscription Terms

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Pro Features Include

• Detailed posture statistics with minute-level drill-down
• Week and Year history views
• Apple Watch haptic alerts
• AirPod sound alerts
• iCloud sync across devices

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems connected to the App

Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code in the App are owned by Tyler Berndt and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The shrimp mascot artwork and Shrimping brand are proprietary.

Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to physical discomfort, injury, or health issues related to posture. Use the App at your own risk.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
